Erica Hall

Senior Secretary in Dispute Resolution

Erica supports the Dispute Resolution team across a wide range of contentious work. From preparing court bundles and managing correspondence to handling billing and accounts, she is the kind of steady, reliable presence that keeps everything moving and ensures the team can focus on what they do best.

Dispute resolution suits her well, and, after more than three decades in the role, she would say she recognised that fairly early on. The work is complex, the pace is demanding, and deadlines arrive with little warning, but she takes it all in her stride. Colleagues know that when something needs to be dealt with, she will handle it, and that the work will be done properly.

What Erica enjoys most is the variety the role brings. Every matter is different, which is something she continues to find rewarding. She also takes pride in supporting a team that helps clients through challenging situations and in doing her part to keep things running smoothly.

Career

Erica has worked in legal secretarial roles since 1990, gaining experience across conveyancing, private client, personal injury, and dispute resolution, before joining Longmores in 2017. Since then, she has become a valued part of the Dispute Resolution team, supporting clients across a broad range of contentious matters.

Erica genuinely enjoys working at Longmores, appreciating the friendly, supportive environment, and having built some great friendships during her time at the firm.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, Erica enjoys spending time with her family and friends, swimming and regular walks with Betsy, her whippet-cross who is, by all accounts, excellent company. She has a love of travel, with Italy and Spain sitting high on her list of favourite destinations, alongside quieter breaks closer to home in Norfolk.
