Careers

Any business is only as good as the people who work for it and that is why at  Longmores we look for the best calibre candidates who will flourish in our  friendly, supportive team. We are fully committed to the professional and personal development of all our staff and provide first-class training and mentoring.

We are committed to organic growth and have a proven track record of internal career progression among both the partners and other members of staff.  We are a dynamic, forward-thinking organisation offering the best legal service to our clients and the best career opportunities to our staff.

Our commitment to members of staff is reflected in our on-going accreditation to the Investors in People scheme which we are proud to have held since 1999. In 2015, we were awarded the Gold standard, a feat achieved by just 1% of all IIP accredited organisations.

Legal Professionals

In addition to our excellent internal career opportunities we are always keen to welcome high-calibre, fully-trained solicitors to the Longmores team. We particularly welcome applications from ambitious solicitors who want to further their skills and experience in a friendly, professional team and who share our values for delivering the best quality service to clients.

Many of our experienced colleagues join Longmores from large, impersonal firms and relish the opportunity to work for a highly-respected county town firm where they can  build rewarding, working relationships with clients rather than simply be another anonymous face.

Support Staff

Without support staff, our legal team would not be able to  provide the excellent level of service for which it is renowned. We therefore look to recruit dynamic team players who relish the opportunity to progress their career in a friendly, supportive environment.
