Dispute Resolution: Band 4

What the guide says

Longmores’ Dispute Resolution team offers expertise in, amongst others, contractual disputes (especially shareholder disputes), intellectual property disputes, disputes related to both commercial and residential property, including those concerning landfill and environmental issues, as well as contentious probate matters and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.

Most of the team’s clients are owner-managed businesses but it also acts for some large companies and for some individuals.

The team offers extensive experience of all matters related to the recruitment industry and can advise on regulatory compliance issues as well as theft of confidential information including databases.  Specialist property litigators regularly advise property managing agents as well as private landlords and tenants.

Extensive past experience of injunctions and search orders enables the team to advise clients quickly and comprehensively when there is need to approach the court quickly.

Construction law adjudication, insolvency, interest rate hedging product mis-selling, fraud, director malfeasance and breach of fiduciary duty, and land valuation arbitration are other areas in which team members have recently or are currently acting.
