Samantha Cardines

Providing thorough and dependable support to the lawyers she works alongside, Samantha plays an important role in keeping matters running smoothly. Her role includes managing client communications, keeping matters on track, and making sure the lawyers she supports have everything they need day-to-day.

Clients and colleagues alike know Samantha as someone they can rely on. She takes genuine care to make sure clients feel looked after, kept informed, and confident that nothing will be missed.

Having lived and worked in different environments,  Samantha brings a strong understanding of people and what matters to them. That experience shapes the way she approaches her role, with a genuine interest in the bigger picture of a matter, not just the tasks involved.

Career

Beginning her career in the City of London before taking time out to raise her children, during which she worked as a fitness instructor. She returned to the legal professional with a fresh perspective and joined Longmores in  2022, where she has become a trusted and integral part of the team she supports.

Samantha feels Longmores is a natural fit. It is a firm where everyone knows everyone, trust runs through the culture, and people are given the space to get on with their work. For Samantha, that environment is a genuine part of why she enjoys coming to work each day.

In addition to her core responsibilities, Samantha also contributes to the firm’s Client Charter, helping to review and improve the client experience across the firm.

Personal interests

Outside of the office, Samantha loves spending time with her family, she is a keen fitness enthusiast and enjoys walking her two dachshunds, Coco and Enzo. Her son’s footballing career has taken the family on some memorable trips, including to America and Trinidad, combining a passion for sport with a love of travel.
