Ben Silver
Ben joined the Company Commercial team at Longmores in 2024 as a consultant solicitor to help with the teams growing client base. With nearly 15 years’ experience at top tier international law firms in London, Los Angeles and Dubai. Ben brings a wealth of knowledge across commercial, corporate, finance and banking matters. He has advised a wide range of clients, from large corporates and private equity sponsors to SMEs and private individuals.

Career
Ben’s career has taken him around the globe. An Englishman born in Dubai, he studied at Bristol University and has subsequently practiced the law in the Middle East, London and Los Angeles. Highly qualified, Ben has also passed both the California and UK bar though prefers to practice as a solicitor where he can make a proactive impact on the decisions made in business. His international career has equipped him with deep commercial insight and cross-border experience.
Personal interests
Outside of the law, Ben runs a film production company and has a major passion for all things film. His passion for storytelling and creative industries complements his legal practice, particularly when working with clients in media and entertainment.
