Longmores Solicitors are celebrating the firm’s 200th anniversary since their founding in 1819.Two hundred of the firm’s clients and professional colleagues joined Longmores staff at the historic setting of Hertford Castle on 20 June 2019 to celebrate the milestone anniversary.

Richard Gvero, Joint Senior Partner, gave a speech that reflected on why the firm has been so successful for so long since business took off during the Industrial Revolution.

“It is a simple formula: outstanding Longmores people working with outstanding clients.”

He also talked about the firm’s commitment to the local community and the civic duties its partners and staff have performed over the years; they have served as judges, under sheriffs, county coroners and held other public offices.More recently the firm launched the Longmores Charitable Foundation which fundraises to support local worthy causes.

The gin bar and canapés were popular again whilst guests were entertained by professional flautist, Emma Halnan (BBC Young Musician of the Year Woodwind Winner 2010), and Heather Wrighton on the harp.
