Longmores raise £1,515 for Will Aid 2018

Solicitors in the Private Client team at Longmores have contributed £1,515 through their participation in the Will Aid 2018 scheme

Will Aid is celebrating its 30th anniversary of partnership between the legal profession and nine of the UK’s best-loved charities.Every November, participating solicitors waive their fee for writing a basic will.Instead, they invite clients to make a voluntary donation to Will Aid.The 2018 scheme has raised nearly £1 million in total.

The firm’s total contribution to Will Aid over the years is now £19,898 and has supported the vital work of ActionAid, Age UK, British Red Cross, Christian Aid, NSPCC, Save the Children, Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund (SCIAF), Sightsavers and Trócaire.These charities help some of the most vulnerable people in our society such as helping orphaned children in Syria overcome trauma, preventing avoidable sight loss and blindness in Ghana, keeping children safe online and reaching out to the elderly when they feel lonely.
