This seminar, brought to you in partnership with Ambition Broxbourne, will explore some of the challenges encountered by family businesses and how to overcome them. Presentations will be illustrated by a number of case studies and the personal experiences of our speakers.

Subjects covered will include:

Business Ownership: Sibling rivalry, inheritance tax and the critical issue of succession planning to ensure the business passes safely from one generation to another.

Competence of the Board: Corporate Governance, Shareholders’ rights and agreements.

Survival in the market place: Employment issues including employee retention, incentivisation and the importance of good communication channels.
