Client summer party 2018

Client summer party 2018

Longmores Solicitors hosted their annual summer party last night on Thursday 21st June and were delighted to welcome a record number of guests.  In a change from recent years the party was in the historic and beautiful location of Hertford Castle and the balmy weather of midsummer’s day allowed guests to enjoy drinks and canapés outside all evening.

The gin bar inside was a hit too with the selection of premium gins proving to be a popular topic all evening long.  Our Hertfordshire guests were also treated to some local drinks, namely McMullen’s beer from Hertford, Solaris white wine from Frithsden Vineyard near Berkhamsted and Pinkster gin from just south of Cambridge.

Emma Halnan, flautist and BBC Young Musician of the Year woodwind winner 2010, performed with professional harpist Heather Wrighton.  Between them they have recently played at the Hertfordshire Festival of Music, Hampton Court Palace and Chichester Cathedral.  It was a great pleasure to have these talented musicians perform for us and everybody enjoyed their mix of contemporary music on classical instruments.

Thank you to all our suppliers that helped us create a memorable party: our neighbours at Hertford Castle; Magpie Catering for the delicious canapés; Host Your Party for the drinks and Love Flowers for their fantastic floral arrangements.  It is a pleasure to work with these great local companies.

We are proud to have been in Hertford for nearly 300 years in the thriving county of Hertfordshire.  So, thank you clients, friends, colleague and neighbours for your business and support and your company at the party.
