Miranda joined Longmores in June 2020 and is a paralegal in the Family department.
Miranda assists the family solicitors on a variety of matters including attending meetings to take notes, corresponding with clients and helping solicitors and barristers prepare for hearings.
Since working in the Family department, she has gained considerable experience in dealing with a variety of divorce, financial and children cases.
Miranda really enjoys meeting and talking to clients, which is handy as she takes a leading role in client communication. Miranda is often the one giving clients updates and likes to offer sympathetic support at what is often a very difficult period in people’s lives.
Bringing a practical, problem-solving mindset to her role, Miranda is really enjoying supporting the rest of the Family Law team and the variety her job offers.
Miranda has a First Class Law degree from the University of Hertfordshire and passed the LPC with Distinction (also at the University of Hertfordshire).
Her experience includes a mini pupillage at a leading London Barristers’ Chambers, providing legal advice to a charity and time at another law firm assisting with matters including probate, personal injury, family law, employment law and civil litigation.
Outside of work, Miranda loves reading, art and playing badminton (with more enthusiasm than skill).
