Miranda Nixon

Solicitor Specialising in Private Client

Miranda qualified as a solicitor in April 2023 and now works closely with the Private Client team to provide comprehensive support and advice on a variety of matters.

As part of her role with Longmores, Miranda frequently assists both individuals and families with everything from straightforward legal issues to complex and contentious disputes.

Miranda’s expertise includes, but is not limited to:

  • Powers of Attorney

  • Wealth preservation

With excellent communication and problem-solving skills, Miranda particularly enjoys being able to liaise with clients and help them to find the right solution for their personal circumstances and requirements.

Career

Miranda has a first class degree in Law from the University of Hertfordshire and passed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) with distinction (also at the University of Hertfordshire).

Her experience includes a mini pupillage at a leading London barristers’ chambers, providing legal advice to a charity and time at another law firm assisting with matters including probate, personal injury, family law, employment law and civil litigation.

Miranda first joined Longmores in June 2020 as a paralegal in the Family department, before moving on to work as a trainee solicitor in the commercial team, gaining incredibly valuable experience and additional skills which she uses to support her in her current role as a solicitor in the Private Client team.

Miranda has previously volunteered as a Legal Advisor for the charities Be Kind Movement and 28 Too Many.

Outside of work, Miranda loves reading, art and playing badminton (with more enthusiasm than skill).
