Lucy Hards

Lucy supports fee earners with both completion and post-completion work. She brings a calm, precise and highly organised approach to her role, helping ensure transactions are handled accurately and progress smoothly through to completion and beyond.

Her work is fast-paced and detail-driven, requiring careful coordination and a clear focus at every stage. Lucy manages incoming funds, prepares for completions and ensures everything is in place for keys to be released on time.

She liaises confidently with clients, colleagues and third parties, and handles important post-completion steps such as stamp duty submissions and notices to freeholders. Her ability to stay composed under pressure, combined with her strong attention to detail, helps ensure that each stage is completed thoroughly and without error.

Lucy’s naturally positive and approachable manner is a key part of how she works. She takes pride in being reliable and supportive, always willing to help colleagues and contribute wherever needed. Describing herself as a perfectionist, she is motivated by getting things right and maintaining high standards, particularly when dealing with significant financial transactions where accuracy is essential.

She enjoys the variety the role brings and the opportunity to support clients at an important stage in their lives. She also values the welcoming and down-to-earth environment at Longmores, where people work closely together and value strong, supportive working relationships.

Career

Lucy studied Law at Coventry University in 2008 and has spent the majority of her career working in conveyancing, supporting lawyers across a range of firms.

She joined Longmores with a strong foundation of practical experience and continues to build on this through ongoing professional development. She is currently working towards completing her CILEx qualification.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, Lucy enjoys spending time outdoors with her children. She has a keen interest in gardening and loves involving her family, including running an annual “sunflower race” in their pop-up greenhouse. She also enjoys nature walks and getting out and about on scooters, making the most of time together.
