Hayley Grantham

Senior Solicitor in Property Litigation

Hayley is a solicitor within our Property Litigation team and has significant experience of advising and acting in all manner of commercial and residential property disputes.  She is able to provide all the legal support that those with property interests need. Her clients range from individual leaseholders and landlords, to tenant management companies and agents, to developers and commercial property investors.

Hayley’s approach is pragmatic yet empathetic, taking care to listen and quickly getting to grips with the unique concerns and considerations facing each client. She expertly adapts her advice to achieve her clients’ goals, whether that is protecting and enforcing a personal property right or maximising a commercial interest in property.

Hayley often walks the tricky tightrope between commercial and personal interests in property, for example, when advising property management companies and agents owned by or managed on behalf of individual homeowners.

So, from resolving turbulent disputes with neighbours to conducting complex and high value Court and Tribunal proceedings, Hayley has the experience and specialist skill to help you.

Career

Hayley’s career has grown out of her insatiable curiosity to understand how the world works and how every action we take – whether buying a property, running a business or making an investment – is underpinned by legal rules.

Hayley studied Law at the University of Hertfordshire followed by the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Kaplan Law School in London.  She started her legal career as a Paralegal in the Property Disputes team at a major Hertfordshire firm where she dealt primarily with disputes involving long leasehold properties. With each successful lease extension and forfeiture case, Hayley became more certain that property was to be her specialist area. So, she undertook her solicitor training, qualifying as a dedicated Property Litigation Solicitor in 2015.

Hayley brought her expertise to the Longmores Property Litigation team in 2017 and was promoted to Senior Solicitor in 2024.  Today, Hayley’s goal is to demystify the legal processes which impact all our lives, helping her clients achieve their goals efficiently and cost-effectively.
