She has a natural ability to stay one step ahead, anticipating what fee earners need and ensuring tasks are handled efficiently and accurately. Whether preparing correspondence, supporting with enquiries or managing the administrative detail that keeps work progressing smoothly, Clare approaches everything with care and precision.
Clare’s approachable manner helps build strong working relationships with both colleagues and clients, and she is valued for the steady support she brings to the team. She enjoys the friendly and sociable atmosphere at Longmores, where collaboration and a strong team ethos are part of everyday working life.
Career
Clare studied Politics at Queen Mary University of London before beginning her career as a legal secretary in 2012. She later completed postgraduate study in Speech and Language Therapy at the University of Greenwich, going on to work within the NHS. This experience further developed her communication skills and ability to work thoughtfully with people.
She returned to the legal sector, to combine her strong organisational skills with her interest in law. She joined Longmores in 2025 and quickly settled into the team, drawn to the firm’s open and approachable working environment. She is currently studying for a qualification with the Institute of Legal Secretaries alongside her role.
Personal interests
Outside of work, Clare enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly going for walks and being in nature. She is also a regular listener of political podcasts, with The Rest is Politics a particular favourite.
