Business Turnaround and Growth

  • This event has passed.

Business owners may be facing difficult decisions about how to keep going during the pandemic and beyond. A period of tough trading does not have to be the end of the road and there are always options to consider for turnaround and even growth.

Turnaround: Nat Young will discuss different ways to turn businesses around, whether they are solvent or insolvent, outlining what is involved and looking at what can work in different situations.

Growth: getting investment from a third party to grow your business is another option in good times as well as bad. Michael Budd will discuss receiving investment in a company, what investors will expect from their investment, how investment transactions are structured, what to look out for and what to avoid.

Valuation: valuations are required for many reasons.  Paul Barwick is finding that he is seeing an increase in the request for valuations to be undertaken, likely to be as a result of the impact of COVID-19.  Paul will discuss some of these reasons, in addition to walking through some high-level valuation techniques.

After the presentation there will be a Q&A for all delegates. We encourage everybody to ask questions, however big or small they may seem. You can ask a question on the day or, submit a question in advance when booking your place.
