Having previously worked for a large insurance company, Thomas was snapped up by Longmores in 2019 for his legal expertise and significant in-house experience, in particular, his strong background in commercial contracts. He now works on a wide range of matters with all types of commercial clients, from owner managed businesses, start-ups and SMEs to large national and international corporations.
Thomas embarked on his legal career after graduating from the University of East Anglia with a First in History. He started his Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) in 2012, closely followed by the LPC.
In 2014, Thomas took up a Training Contract at a national firm specialising in contentious litigation. Here, he obtained experience across an array of practice areas, from personal injury to construction disputes, before qualifying as a solicitor in 2016. Wanting to gain valuable experience in non-contentious work, Thomas then took up an in-house role at a large insurance company where he lived and breathed commercial contracts.
In 2019, Thomas joined our team at Longmores in pursuit of a broader range of corporate and commercial matters.
